Where to start…when I was a young warthog 🎵 lol

Haha for real tho…..fitness for me started when I was young…. I grew up watching both of my grandfathers working out before everyone else was awake. Well ya boy was awake, that’s how I knew they were working out…but you get the point. 

My grandpa used to wake up at 4am and hit this routine each and every day

  • 100 push ups
  • 100 sit ups
  • 100 back ups
  • 100 squats

He would then take the dogs on a 5 mile walk run through the So Cal desert streets of Apple Valley CA

When I was about 9 years old he bought me a pair of walking shoes at walmart and said okay boy…tomorrow is day one….that stuck with me….so many say “one day”….we say “day one”

My Abuelo was similar…he would wake up at 5am…hit a small workout and focus mainly on meditation and stretching/ mobility. And then start his day which was mostly his passion for cooking for us. 

What was wild was EVERYONE else in my family did the exact opposite…..they slept in…didn’t make time to exercise…..ate whatever they wanted, when they wanted….that all may seem fine….until disease starts taking over…I’ve seen family members get cancer, diabetes, heart disease, and on and on….all because of two simple things they could have done wayyyyy differently…

Ultimately, it is you who needs to make the decision.
